IPOH, Oct 26 — A helicopter carrying six people is reported to have crashed in a forested area in Cameron Highlands.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Osman said there were five passengers, believed to be Health Ministry personnel, and a pilot on board, according to The Star.

"Our STORM team is on the way, and we are not sure of the condition of those onboard the helicopter as yet,” he was quoted as saying.

It was reported that the helicopter was headed to Ipoh from Lojing, Kelantan.
