Ramadan bazaars to be upgraded in stages, says Tengku Adnan

KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 — The Federal Territories Ministry through Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be upgrading Ramadan bazaar sites in the federal capital in stages to make them more conducive.

Its minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor said the upgrading of the Kampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar here would be the pioneer project.

" We hope to extend the project to other areas such as Keramat, Sentul, around Jamek Mosque and so on.

"This is the second year the Kampung Baru bazaar has been improved with facilities such fans and others,” he told reporters after visiting the bazaar today.

Also present was Second Finance Minister-cum-Titiwangsa MP Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.

Tengku Adnan also reminded all traders to keep the place clean and refrain from raising prices arbitrarily. — Bernama
