Pump price for petrol up again

KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 ― The price of petrol at the pumps will rise again from midnight for the third week of April.

The Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry announced the new prices for RON95 and RON97 grade petrol will increase eight and nine sen respectively, while diesel will be up eight sen.

This means the price of RON95 will be RM2.24 per litre, while RON97 will be priced at RM2.52 per litre and diesel will cost RM2.16 per litre.

The current prices for RON95 petrol is at RM2.16, RON97 at RM2.43, and diesel at RM2.08.

 

 

The new prices will take effect from Thursday until April 19.

Last month, Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin said that the ceiling price for petrol will be announced weekly every Wednesday night starting from March 29.
