KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — For the first time, Louis Vuitton presented its women’s Fall Winter 2023 collection in a show format in Malaysia.
The recent event in Kuala Lumpur was graced by celebrities such as actor Awal Ashaari and his actress wife Scha Al-Yahya, singer Alvin Chong and top model Alicia Amin.
As a French luxury house, Louis Vuitton never fails to combine sophistication with a touch of playfulness on the runway, and this collection was no exception.
Within the walls of The Exchange TRX, the collection from Louis Vuitton's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière was brought to life, thrilling the Malaysian audience.
Luxurious yet pared-down ensembles were shown during the presentation. Enigma personified, the collection was a glimpse at how to masterfully go above and beyond.
From the intense luminosity to runway soundtrack, the show's ambience gave power to the female walk. Each design demonstrated a great level of detail as well as distinctive fabric combinations which highlighted the classic French allure.
Monochromatic looks were the centre of attention. There were sporadic moments of bold accessories and multi-coloured patterns to tie the greys and whites together.
With the inclusion of playful silhouettes, contrasting fabrics and some 1920s-inspired footwear, it was a homogenous collection throughout, resulting in an eclectic, glamorous evening.
