KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 — A kind gesture by an Indian woman in Kedah has warmed the hearts of many Malaysians on TikTok.
The heartwarming video by a TikTok user captured her mother’s effort to feed a visually-impaired Malay woman, a kidney failure patient at the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Kedah.
According to the person who posted the video, the Malay lady was admitted to the hospital due to kidney failure.
"She can’t see, so my mum helped her to eat.”
The mother was also seen attending to other patients’ needs afterwards.
The short clip amassed over 870,000 videos with thousands of heartwarming comments lauding the lady’s kindness.
"Thank you, auntie, in Malaysia there are actually many good people,” wrote Hajarrazak83.
Another user, Syarifa7475 wrote, "This is the meaning of love from the heart regardless of skin colour, race and religion.”
"Proof of manners and glory is not in the colour of skin or race but in the heart,” wrote Pasandaribonda.
The users also wished good health for the woman and her daughter who was admitted to the hospital ward.
In a subsequent video, the mother thanked the social media users for encouraging words and said she didn’t know her daughter was filming her.
