KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 — Renowned Japanese skincare brand Clea de Peau Beaute recently introduced its newest product in a scientific way.

For the launch of its updated Concentrated Brightening Serum, the brand flew in Clé de Peau Beauté Laboratory’s Chief Technology Officer, Kiyoshi Sato from Japan.

According to Sato, the skin’s microbiome is home to many types of indigenous bacteria.

"Our scientists focused on Staphylococcus epidermidis because of its proven protective and moisturising properties,” Sato explained.

He added that skin with a high percentage of Staphylococcus epidermidis is clear, rather than clouded.

Based on the discovery that the skin’s microbiome balance directly correlates with dullness, Concentrated Brightening Serum’s upgraded reformulation conditions the skin for optimal harmony.

The product’s dual brightening approach addresses dullness on the skin’s surface and dark spots at their root cause. With continuous use, these problem areas fade as skin looks brighter.
