KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — It's not everyday one gets birthday wishes from England's most decorated football club, Manchester United.

Badminton legend Datuk Lee Chong Wei's wife Datin Wong Mew Choo however had a little bit of an extra reason to celebrate when when the club took to social media to wish her happy birthday.

To make it more unique, the post yesterday was made in Bahasa Malaysia, a day after Wong's 40th birthday.

In the post, with a screenshot of Lee's Instagram post wishing his wife, the club also thanked Lee for his support.

In the earlier post he shared, the family were wearing Manchester United jerseys expressed his hope the club would make top three in the Premier League standing.

Responding to Lee's post, the club confirmed they are in the running for third placing.

Thanking the club for the birthday wishes, Lee said it made their day.

"Let's march together towards another cup and champion league spot. Glory glory man united.”
