Screenshots of their Whatsapp conversation have gone viral leaving many shocked at her outrageous behaviour.

"I’m now divorced and those pictures, I and my husband don’t need them anymore,” the woman told Johannesburg-based photographer Lance Romeo.

"You did a wonderful job but they went to waste as we are now divorced,” she continued.

"I will need a refund of the amount we paid you because we don’t need them anymore.”

Romeo, who initially thought he was being pranked, asked the Durban-based woman if she was joking.

"No dear, I’m very serious,” she replied.

After saying he was sorry for her divorce, he went on to explain that photography is a non-refundable service after delivering the service and photos.

"I can’t refund you because I can’t un-take the pictures,” he continued.

But the woman insisted that surely something could be done for her since no refunds wasn’t stated in their contract.

After Romeo made it crystal clear that she would not be entitled to a refund, the tenacious woman threatened legal action.

"You will be hearing from my lawyer. I’ve forwarded him everything. Sharp!” read her message.

When that failed to elicit the response she wanted from Romeo, she sent another message, asking for at least 70 per cent back.

Romeo took to social media with his tale of the refund lady where Twitter users responded with disbelief and laughter.
