Fifa collaborates with global artists for 2022 World Cup "Spotlight: Your Dreams" in art-driven campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 – The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is only a month away, and the International Federation of Association Football (Fifa) is celebrating the global event by collaborating with eight emerging artists from different parts of the world to launch the Spotlight: Your Dreams campaign.

Showcasing artworks produced by the global creatives are inspired by the unifying symbolism of the World Cup’s Jules Rimet Trophy, the initiative not only highlights emerging talent but also spotlights the stories and heroes within different communities around the world.

American social media personality Noah Beck will also join Lu Sedova (Argentina), Matt Adnate (Australia), Victor Mosquera (Canada), Josephine Henning (Germany), Farid Rueda (Mexico), Ashley Dreyfus (US), Gabe Gault (US) and Jaber Henzab (Qatar) to rally fans all over the world to participate in the art-driven campaign.

Artists, fans and creators worldwide are encouraged to draw, paint or artistically produce a work of art that expresses their dreams imagined through a trophy of their own.

The eight participating campaign artists will inspire and engage others through their own art and story by driving sign-ups to the #FIFADreamContest in each country.

The Spotlight: Your Dreams #FIFADreamContest will lead to a bracket-style competition on November 10 where the 16 best user-submitted fan art curated by the creative collaborators, with the winner of the competition, to be decided on November 14, will win a trip to the World Cup in Qatar.
