MILAN, Dec 9 — The Italian designer’s Emporio Armani collection was all about playing with proportions, and a mostly red and blue colour palette.
Armani served up plenty of mid-length skirts for his latest Pre-Fall Emporio Armani collection, alongside a choice selection of ample trousers cut at the shin.
These were paired with small tailored jackets, some with short sleeves cut at t-shirt length, thick t-shirts working in place of blazers, and dyed furs. Meanwhile the evening looks were all about bare arms and legs.
Fabrics included warm wools, knits and colourful jacquards, which were mixed with technical fabrics including an ikat print nylon and leather. Footwear included lace-up shoes inspired by men’s shoes, which came in a choice of velvet finish or clear plastic, and crocodile high-heeled stilettos and biker boots. — AFP/Relaxnews
